Founder and namesake of the Feldbinder company
One thing Otto Feldbinder was certain of - he was a passionate entrepreneur and visionary. With his entrepreneurial spirit and innovative thinking, he laid the foundations for his life's work. Otto Feldbinder set himself the goal of revolutionizing the silo industry and generating a considerable payload advantage through the use of new materials. Some 45 years later, his ideas live on.
As a pioneer in the industry, Otto Feldbinder was extremely passionate and put all his energy into the further development of the company. He fought for Feldbinder, worked hard for success and lived for the company. Together with the entrepreneurial spirit of co-founder J.-D. Beckmann and thanks to the employees and loyal customers, the company has grown into what it is today. Feldbinder is one of Europe's leading producers of silo and tank vehicles as well as railroad wagons and employs around 1000 people.
Even after the generational change in April 2018, Otto Feldbinder put his heart and soul into “his” company until his death.
We will always remember our company founder and namesake as a determined and consistent thoroughbred entrepreneur. Together with J.-D. Beckmann, he created a monument to himself, which must now be preserved and promoted. We pay tribute to his life's work with deep respect.
Otto Feldbinder was 79 years old and died in Lutherstadt Wittenberg after a full life.
